Supporters' Lunch

Dine with fellow Patrons and literary figures at our annual Supporters’ Lunch, in this eclectic converted warehouse that once served as storage for a Clerkenwell bookbinder and now serves fine French food and wine in the heart of London's Square Mile.

We are grateful to be joined at the lunch by Library Ambassadors Jessie Burton, author of best-selling works including The Miniaturist, The Muse and The House of Fortune; and Hallie Rubenhold, whose award-winning works on social and women's history include The Five and Story of a Murder.

Jessie and Hallie will be in conversation, discussing the challenges and freedoms of entering the mid-stage of their careers as authors, the delicate balancing act of marketing versus writing, and how the Library works to support them and their fellow writers.

NB This event takes place at Le Café du Marché, 22 Charterhouse Mews, Charterhouse Square, Smithfield, London, EC1M 6DX.
